Dr. Victoria Lukasik


  Victoria Lukasik, DVM, DACVA

Dr. Victoria Lukasik is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists and a 1990 graduate of the Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency training in veterinary anesthesiology at Cornell University. In addition to her time here at Sunrise Pet Clinic, she is also involved in cancer imaging research at the Arizona Health Sciences Center at the University of Arizona and a member of the Radiology faculty there.

Dr. Lukasik has published numerous professional articles and has contributed to textbooks on the field of anesthesia. She is a nationally and internationally recognized speaker and has been presented with several professional awards, including one for compassion.

Dr. Lukasik is a member of the following professional organizations: American College of Veterinary Anesthesiologists, International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management, Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, Arizona VMA, Southern AzVMA, American Association of Equine Practitioners and American Animal Hospital Association. In addition, she regularly sits on grant review committees at the National Cancer Institute in Washington, DC.

Dr. Lukasik likes to hike with her Jack Russell Terrier, has a Betta pond and a hermit crab colony. Her outside interests include opera, fine art and paragliding.
